Irma Ramirez, J.D.
Irma currently resides in Niles, Michigan. She is a first generation Mexican-American. Irma is a law graduate from WMU-Cooley Law School. She received a BA in Human Development and Family Studies from Michigan State University. Irma was very active in the Latinx community during her academic career. She is a passionate advocate for the Latinx and immigrant community. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time, being active, and traveling with her family.
Irma also serves as our Department Of Justice Partially-Accredited Representative.

![]() Naun Lucoer CerratoNaun’s roots are in Central America. He moved with his family to Elkhart in the 90’s. Naun Graduated from Goshen College with a bachelor’s and his master’s from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary. Naun was installed and licensed at Piedra Viva Mennonite Church, Elkhart, on June 14. Naun Is the founder of La Posada Immigrants Aid. He is also the founder of a popular podcast within the Hispanic community called “Un Momento De Anabautismo". | ![]() Peter N. GraberPeter is recently retired from Mennonite Mission Network where he served as a leader in constituent relations for more than 20 years. He represents Sunnyside Mennonite Church on the La Posada board. His grandfather immigrated from France in 1906. | ![]() Rose Rivera, JD, LLMRose is an attorney for the City of Elkhart and a founder of the Center for Legal Justice. She graduated from Earlham College (pre-law) and received her Master of Laws degree from Notre Dame’s Center for Civil and Human Rights. Her roots are in Chicago, she is a mother, and advocate, and has experience with mental health emergency response as a crisis worker. |

![]() Mark ClaassenMark is an active member at Hively Avenue Mennonite Church and represents them on the La Posada board. He has degrees in music and math from Goshen College and is currently a software engineer living in Elkhart Indiana. | ![]() Saulo PadillaSaulo is Coordinator of Mennonite Central Committee’s U.S. Immigration Education National Program. He provides learning opportunities about better and safer mechanisms for migration and advocating to reform the immigration system. He coordinates immigration law trainings for non-profits and leads migration learning tours to the U.S./Mexico and Guatemala/Mexico borders. Saulo facilitates seminars on migration trauma and resilience. He is a Guatemalan-Canadian citizen, living in the U.S. | ![]() Izaete NafzigerIzaete is the Outreach Pastor at North Goshen Mennonite Church. In her role, she provides pastoral care for families and individuals in the church. She also reaches out to people in the local community supporting their physical, spiritual and emotional needs, including many families that are Latina. She engages with various Goshen community groups to help connect the church with people in the neighborhood. |
![]() Quinn BrennekeQuinn is co-pastor at Prairie Street Mennonite Church in Elkhart, Indiana. Previously, he lived in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas and served with Mennonite Central Committee in Chiapas, Mexico. Quinn is a graduate of Goshen College and Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary. | ![]() Jorge MontenegroJorge is a member of PIedra Viva Mennonite Church in Elkhart. He immigrated from El Salvador and has lived in Elkhart County for over 7 years. He is experienced in the finance and banking sectors and is currently working as a Relationship Banker for a large financial institution. |
